User information

User Information Available in Sharepoint Content db : this blog esppecially those who want to work with userdata and mysite data settings please follow the procedure

In Sharepoint content db there are two table related to user information
 i.e

  • dbo.Userdata
  • dbo.AllUserData
Step1: Displaying Site collection User information

The following query to retriver user data in site collection

select * from dbo.AllUserData

 Step2 : Displaying Login names

The following query to display login names with respect to the site users

Select * from dbo.Userdata

Step 3: How to Change Welcome name

Generally When user Account is not synchronized properly we need to change the account settings manually as follows

First select which user need to change the properties so we can get the particular user information from the following query

Select * from dbo.AllUserData where nvarchar1='Account name'

or

select * from dbo.UserInfo where tp_Login like '%value%'
or

Select * from dbo.Userdata where tp_Id=numberStep 4:

Second thing if we need toto update the values for the user as the following query

update dbo.AllUserData set tp_Ttile='Requirename'where tp_ID=number

[eg: update dbo.AllUserData set tp_Ttile='kishore,krishna' where tp_ID=2014]

Step5:

Finally changes will reflect immediately after refreshing page

The same procedure applicable for all properties in 'All User data' table.

Many Thanks
